Have your say
Two Council consultations are open: the skatepark strategy (closes 22 October), and a proposal to lift the number of people an event can have before it needs a permit from 500 to 1,000 (closes 26 October). Council is taking feedback on both.
One for the drive home
It’s koala season
Koala breeding season runs from September to December, and they’re on the move — so take it easy on the roads from dusk to dawn. If you come across injured wildlife, Council’s 24-hour rescue line is 07 3833 4031. Worth saving in your phone.
